About the Chef
John has been passionate about food for over 30 years. While attending and after college, he would often find himself in the kitchen on weekends or special occasions (yes, football is a special occasion) preparing appetizers, dinners, and game snacks for friends. The dinners were nothing spectacular just good, comforting, home-cooked meals – fried chicken with fixings, steak and potatoes, pasta with pesto – but all earned cudos from the diners; once in a while they insisted that John relax while they cleared the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Over the years the satisfaction gained from time in the kitchen could not be resisted.
Chef John is a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy having successfully completed their undergraduate course and earning the title of Personal Chef. He is a premier member of the United States Personal Chef Association and subscribes to the USPCA Code of Ethics.
After a long, successful career in information technology, the Chef has found the joy derived from cooking far surpasses any ones and zeroes computers could ever utter.
